Dacă am vorbit deja despre melodii care ne fac să zâmbim, hai să bifăm astăzi melodiile acelea pe care le ascultăm la tristețe. Cărora le dăm play ori de câte ori ne simțim jos, spre care ne îndreptăm mecanic de fiecare dată când avem nevoie de un „pansament”. Și nu degeaba am ales tema asta tocmai azi, 19 noiembrie. Sunt mai multe și la mine, dar are asta ceva al ei, care mă face să o aleg astăzi și să o împărtășesc cu voi. E vorba de Here without you, de la 3 Doors Down, o melodie pe care Brad Arnold a compus-o cu gândul la soția sa, pe vremea când încă erau căsătoriți. Piesa a ajuns imediat în topurile din întreaga lume, devenind un imn al soldaților de pretutindeni și al familiilor lor. Și credeți-mă, merge perfect și când te gândești la oamenii care nu mai sunt fizic printre noi.
Here without you a fost lansată ca single pe 11 august 2003 și face parte de pe cel de-al doilea album de studio al trupei, Away from the Sun, lansat în 2002. Probabil îi știți cel mai bine cu piesa lor de debut din 2000, Kryptonite, un mega-hit pe care Brad l-a compus când era la liceu, în ora de mate.
